Hi Michael,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Please look into http://bhabaniranjan.com/?p=147

Thanks , I have recently been looking for information approximately this subject for ages and yours is the best I’ve found out so far. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you positive in regards to the source?

Very Nice .Before installing odi ,database must be up and running . and also before installing odi we need to install rcu on top of the data base ?

For odi installation you need not to bother about database. You must be concerned about it only when you are creating odi repository. I would suggest to create repository using odistudio rather rcu.

Thanks sir

Hi, i got a problem, i had install odi development installation and standalone installation perfectly.
now my issue is i need to install java ee installation…can i re-install on same odi_home path or is there any specific process

Since you want to go with enterprise installation you have to install weblogic server first then ODI installation in the weblogic home.

Thanks for your reply!!!

I had already installed weblogic before and i perform only developer and standalone instillation only…now i want java ee instillation….can i re install java ee on same path??? if i install it will effect existing repository??

It will not affect repository as repository and installation files for ODI Studio are different. IF you will reinstall in the same ODI path i guess you will get error that the folder already exist. So you have to install in a different path. For example you might have ODI_HOME1 for the initial installation. In the next one you have to create a new folder ODI_HOME2 and can proceed with the installation.

Instillation means full instillation or only Java ee instillation on new folder???

Go for full installation on the new folder. Tick all three check boxes there. But before doing this you give a try with only enterprise installation on the existing odi_home directory. If ODI complains then go with a new home and full installation.

Dear Bhabani:
Hello, in the process of learning a problem, not found related problems, so I want to ask you!
Problem Description: the ODI tool is synchronized to the MYSQL database through the Oracle database, and the interface is executed till update existing rows find error, and the error is as follows:You have an error in your SQL syntax, check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘from ca_tust.I$_user_data where IND_UPDATE=”U” at line1’……..please help me !!!
I suspect that KM, keywords and databases drive jar packages, but none of them solve the problem.
Thank you for your letter.
